20". This is a whimsical necklace that's very organic. I used a clay product to form the setting for this very old piece of beach glass. I know it's old, because it's very thick and smooth from being tossed around the waves. Wood beads were added as I wove the necklace out of soft cord. It has a loop and wood bead closure.
If you would rather wear this on a chain or enhancer simply cut off the cording.
Beach glass is formed when broken bottles are tumbled in the waves. Most of what is found now is thin indicating that the glass isn't that old. I've been beach-combing all of my life and love the excitement of finding old things and imagining the life they witnessed.
