There is a certain place on Roanoke Island that we, as locals, enjoy viewing the sunset. This is at 'Freedman's Colony' access and looks out to 'Mashoos' which is the Eastern part of Mann's Harbor. The sunsets in the OBX are frequently a painted sky of glory. We also have an abundance of sea gulls and other wildlife.
