Being of cherokee descent I love all things native. My cherokee ancestors did not originate the dream catcher, but the symbolism of it is something that modern day 'tsalagi' (cherokee in the cherokee language) appreciate.
I used a continuous piece of variegated cotton thread about 15 feet long to create this. I used the same thread to wind around the base of the unique feathers used to embellish the piece before attaching a large, nugget-shaped gem stone from a broken necklace.
The entire piece is 12" high, 5" wide and a 'bowl' depth of 2.75". Suitable for display on your mantle or use it to put wrapped candies in. $44.23 includes shipping.
